NBA Playoffs Are Set

With last night finishing off the regular season, the NBA Playoffs are ready to go. Here's a look of the 1st round matchups.

#1 Miami Heat vs #8 Milwaukee Bucks                #1 Oklahoma City Thunder vs #8 Houston Rockets
#2 New York Knicks vs #7 Boston Celtics           #2 San Antonio Spurs vs #7 Los Angeles Lakers
#3 Indiana Pacers vs #6 Atlanta Hawks                 #3 Denver Nuggets vs #6 Golden State Warriors
#4 Brooklyn Nets vs #5 Chicago Bulls                   #4 Los Angeles Clippers vs #5 Memphis Grizzlies

Now, the East, to me anyways, is pretty much going to come down Miami and New York. The West however, is a complete toss up, any of the teams have a good shot. 

In other news, I don't like Kobe Bryant as a player, but even I was saddened by his injury. He's one of the games best ever and to see him go down like that just takes a bit of fun out of the playoffs. He'll come back however and try again next year. 

Last bit of news, the NFL is scheduled to release their schedule for all 32 teams later today. But it's already been stated that the Ravens and Broncos will kickoff the season. I can't wait for Football! The NFL Draft is also next week. Not really looking forward to it like previous year since there really aren't many great players. But it'll be interesting to watch nonetheless.
